Mr. Hickey is both an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP), holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health, and has nearly 15 years of experience in the general, maritime, and construction industries. The research revealed wider use of safety management practices in the construction industry and found benefits for contractors on the high end of the safety culture scale, compared with those at the low end.
